Honey Creek Creamery is a farmstead dairy that prides itself on quality, fresh cheese. The goat herd is smaller (about 20 mamas) so there is greater attention to detail for livestock care and cheese production. The farm’s scenic location in the Loess hills also provides the goats with unique, native plants for browsing.
This gives the cheese a unique flavor not found anywhere else. The dairy is situated in a renovated historic bunkhouse on a century farm located just 10 miles from the Omaha / Council Bluffs.
Artisan cheese is crafted using fresh goats milk every two days. The result is a fresh, lively chevre with a smooth and creamy finish. Come visit the creamery for a tour, goat trivia, free cheese samples and perhaps a chance to milk a goat! We welcome your visit every third Saturday. For other times, please call for an appointment. Private tours available for 10 people and up.
